Just how dumb was that sequence? The entire point of their endeavour to the slave plantations was to gather more men to the cause so they could overthrow Rogers' regime in Nassau... and their solution to that is they start some kind of civil war where Flint and Billy's men are killing each others over their personal pride?

shareKeep to the plan. Screw the slaves. never mind the threat from the plantation owners. Keep Underhill's estate because it has all the supplies and weaponry needed.
Or withdraw. Take time away from the master plan to stage a simultaneous breakout of slaves from seven different plantations. Lose the Underhill estate but potentially gain an army of slave soldiers--if they're willing.
Did you not realize the slaves weren't going to fight for them? So there was no plan to stick to anymore, genius.
shareIf it weren't for Flint and the speech he gave and the actions he took they would all have been dead at the hands of the ex-slaves. Nassau is basically undefended and with the help of the slaves the pirates would take it easily it. Billy let his personal issues with Flint come to a head at the worst possible time and it made him look like an idiot. Also Max has to go. She not only screwed over all of her previous partners but the black slaves held on Nassaue. She is the most selfish TV character I've seen in a while and is ruining the show.
shareShe really does suck. Outside of being pretty she is a horrible person. Even that stupid look she constantly has on her face makes me wanna punch the TV. If this show was even close to reality she'd be dead by the 5th episode of the series. From the start she was annoying. Mad that Eleanor didn't runaway with her.... what was she gonna do? Live of a few thousand dollars? Max might be OK with selling herself for money but Eleanor wasn't and it was obvious that after tephey spent all that money that is what would have happened. She really has been belligerently selfish and the show runners reward her for it. If she doesn't die by the end of the show I'll be pissed. Eleanor too, she has no heart and no code, she completely turned her back on everything she was. She needs to die.
