Writting quality has declined...

I got the feeling that ever since the "Flint is gay...lol" episode the writers don't seem to have a clear grasp on a good story line. It's almost like with that cat out of the bag, they have just went "we did it, now lets linger a bit and wrap it up somehow".

This last episode with Blackbeard doing the most incredibly stupid boarding approach ever... Who the hell would board a ship with two small boats with a dozen man when you have a multi deck warship that can just annihilate the enemy and holds much more men?

And then, to build on stupid writing, they have the whole ship surrender when the captain is captured. While they still had the absolute advantage!

Ain't even going to go into the whole retarded "Pirate King Long John Silver" who hasn't done a damn thing noteworthy when there are the likes of legendary captains around like Flint and Teach.

It's clear they had an idea for this show. And it was "lets make a great character, fool everyone and then make this about deep homosexual love". Now they are just lost...
