...I'd release the entirety of Season 5 of Orange is the New Black now, on all Netflix regions, because right now a LOT of people are acquiring the leaked version from other sources...

10 out 13 episodes are leaked I believe. It's crazy the hackers demanded money from netflix or else they'd leak the epiodes. Netflix didn't pay so.. I think that Netflix will now release season 5 earlier than they were supposed to. I'm in no hurry to see it so I can wait a month or so until they release it.

Yeah we'll see what happens, because if they keep this current release date, by June probably over half the OITNB fans will already have seen these 10 eps.

Netflix was not involved.

A hacking group calling itself TheDarkOverlord is threatening to leak a trove of unreleased TV shows and movies. The group has already backed up its warning by uploading the season five premiere of Netflix's Orange is The New Black. The group says it obtained the content from a post-production studio and after the company failed to pay a ransom, spilled it onto torrent sites.

I truly love OITNB, and somehow this whole sitch is really hilarious to me... A TV episode hostage crisis! Or maybe I'm just more tired than I thought and I have the giggles

If it were all 13... then I would agree with that strategy... but since its not all of them, then they can continue as planned.
I know how to bootleg everything, but I pay for Netflix because I want them to continue to make good shows. If everyone continues to think like greedy, cheap assholes... we will be stuck watching youtube stars instead of cable shows. Now I'm not saying youtube stars aren't ever funny... but I'd sure miss watching Game of Thrones, Orange, Westworld, Fargo, Saul.

Unless you're dirt poor and I mean virtually homeless, people should pitch in and pay every once in awhile and stop being so proud of how they rip off the artists.
