Why is every guy in this show either a moron or a complete coward, and or both?
The warden is a complainant moron, Sam Hailey is a coward, and all the guards are functioning retards. The show is creative and interesting but missing a vindictive villain guard with maybe just a couple brain cells.

I think it's for a comedic element.

I get the show at the end of the day is a comedy...but not everyone in the show should be a complete goof ball

You'll get a helluva villain guard (or two) in Season 4.
