How can you kill a prison guard without anybody noticing?
Im no prison expert but the guy surely had to check in and out of prison, even if he was a fake he had to have some kind of counterfeit ID or something.

shareI watched only 3 episodes by the way maube it is adressed later on
shareYes in real life someone would of had to notice, but you know it's TV and they never play by the rules...
shareIt was when all the guards walked out and quit
shareYea he made a comment saying they'd "hire Forrest Gump" but I guess he just hung around, waited for the strike then got a uniform and did his business... If you want it to be a little more "realistic" ?
shareHe did but he was new. When he didn't return, it was likely assumed that he had quit without notice. Or he could have been automatically fired. At my former job, any employee who failed to report or call in for three consecutive days was fired. No excuse, no exceptions.
shareYou would think in a perfect world, the prison would take a personnel file of all the male guards employed in the past few years and cross reference all of the guards that were unaccounted for (as in disappearing from the job or mysteriously not coming into work) and cross referencing them to public records to see if they're still alive. There can't be that many guards that have been with the prison.
It would have taken some work, but its a lot better than assuming that your inmates are murdering your guards falsely.
I thought his phone might have been traced to the prison due to someone's wondering what had happened to him, but maybe nobody cared. (Did they bury it with "him?" I can't recall.)
shareHe wasn't a real prison guard, he was a hit man.
