Does anyone else love this character? Besides his pervish behavior, his character is genuinely a good guy who actually seems to care a lot about the prisoners despite them being in there for doing some pretty nasty things.
I loved his flashbacks and I wish they wouldn't make him out to be such a goofball all the time. The back/fourth between his personality and intelligence is one of the worst parts of the writing to me.
In the early episodes he seemed vile I.e. masturbating in the office. But they've written him into a proper well-rounded character and now I think he's a strong and likeable role, it's nice to see it's not just the inmates who have stories.
shareCaputo is by far my favorite character on the show. I just find him absolutely hilarious. The way the actor delivers his lines and facial expressions always makes me laugh. "Jesus tits! It's my 2nd day!" Every scene of his is brilliant. Just a funny character. I hope he never gets written off. And yeah, he is a great guy despite his pervy masturbation (laughed out loud on that scene where he feigned disgust when his boss mentioned people who masturbate in their offices).LOL

shareAt least he admitted that he would rather jerk off than have sex with an inmate illegally. I did find it creepy when he would get out his lotion and towel but the explanation he gave at least made it sound like he was doing it to control his urges.
