Am I the Only One Who's Satisfied With This Show?
I'm not saying this show is perfect by any means, but I see so many posts where people are hating on characters or actresses or entire seasons or multiple episodes and I find it a tad confusing because I love this show. I know, I know... different strokes, but still... I didn't like season two as much as I liked the first season, but overall, I'm very invested in this show as a whole. Not every episode or character will be the best thing ever, but I see so many people posting things like "I don't like the first three episodes of this season. I'm so over this show. I'm done."
Maybe it's just me, but I don't put four years into a show and then stop watching because a new character seems annoying so far or a certain season isn't as funny as the season before. I love this show - flaws and all. And I also have faith that if something seems off, there's probably a reason for that and if I keep watching, I'll find out and it'll all make sense or it'll be corrected. People just seem, overall, very dramatic and so ready to give up on this show as soon as they're not happy. "The last five minutes of this show haven't entertained me; I'm gonna cancel Netflix!"
This show has always been controversial (because LIFE is controversial) and it seems like every few episodes someone is giving up on the show because they're offended. "I don't like the way veterans are being portrayed." "I don't like the rape story line." "I don't like the way Hispanics are being portrayed." "I'm half Japanese and half Native American - I don't like that I'm not being represented on this show. I quit! I'm done watching!" Geeeeez. This board is very sensitive and very dramatic. Not everyone, but a lot of people are really, really whiny and annoying.
I think this show has been consistently satisfying for the most part and it deserves our patience and loyalty.
That's just my opinion.
