It's California. One of the most densely populated states in the US. Parts of this are filmed on US highway 1. There are literally thousands of people on this highway and any given time of the day. And these guys are racing for miles and miles with one single school bus? Where in the hell are all the tourists? This had to be one of the more far fetched movies ever made. Extremely annoying. Don't waste your time with this crap.
shareIt's called Suspension of Disbelief. Shut your brain down and just enjoy something without the need for logical reasoning. It's called entertainment.
shareI think you missed the memo where it has to be a willing suspension of disbelief. A story still has to follow some kind internal logic, especially when it’s set in our world.

shareIt’s pretty sad when the videogame is of far higher quality than the movie, but that’s how you people like it isn’t it? Get a grip. FYI it felt nothing like the videogame. If you played them you’d know the whole point was about traveling at ridiculous, cartoonishly breakneck speeds along sweeping vistas, the movie had none of that but was more like drag-racing at a lame 75mph between teenagers.
