Real Bastille Day kills this film
There wasn't much push to get this released before, after the real terrorist attack in Nice on Bastille Day, pretty unlikely this will get wide release for months, years, if ever.

I watched it yesterday afternoon in Paris.
While the story is less about Islamic terror - as Hollywood knows the real culprits are always white government officials - it will definitely be hit hard here.
I haven't read the reviews but it doesn't exactly paint France in a good light so doubt it would have been a success here anyway.
Cinema was deserted and I don't think that was just because it was a public holiday as we saw The Conjuring 2 straight after and it was packed.

How about you get off your couch and do something about it, you racist ****.
shareOh the ever fashionable "racist" branding again. Brb, my Hashtag Counter-terrorism unit will show those terrorists what liberal democracy is made off! Hah!
sharenow what you said makes no sense. someone is racist for pointing out irony?
I bet your a wuss behind a keyboard and I BET it is time to move out of your parents basement. Say hi to your mom for me.
Ha!!! good one dude lmao
shareI hate when they postpone terror action movies because of terror attacks, that's what they want, that we change our way of life because of radical islamic terrorism.
This movie was very bad so the best thing would have been to postpone it indefeinitely
_______
"if seagal was thinner this could have been a theatrical product."
It has become way too damn easy to call people racists. Way, way too easy.

lol, liberals. As in you virgins use the N word liberally in the safety of the internet.
shareAh, it'll show up somewhere... In these days of Internet VOD, wide release isn't as important as it used to be. Just look at how Sony handled "The Interview". I mean; I'm not saying they'll turn this into a publicity stunt like they did for that film - but point is, they'll find a way of making sure that people who want to see it, GET to see it...
"Your mother puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?!"
I really want to watch this movie again. I watched in Cinema in Lebanon, and I liked it so much so I started searching for it everywhere but never found it. Please if you have any link to download it let me know. And preferably if you already have the movie, I'd really appreciate it if you send it to me via email because my university connection server prohibits movies downloading and blocks the websites.
Thank you in advance!
your knowledge of all things internet seems to be limited. if you can use torrent, then just google
"Bastille Day 2016 torrent download"
if not, google
"Bastille Day 2016 uploaded links"
You're stupid as *beep* to think like that!! Ofcourse I know about torrent lol, but haven't found it anywhere. If you can find it tell me *beep* I just asked nicely for it from someone, so if you can you could just tell me that you found it and tell me about it. But it seems like you're too *beep* and stupid to say that.

You don't need no terrorist attack to kill this movie. It is pretty much dead as it is.
shareWell, looks like it went direct to video, since BR rips are now all over the web.
How's the movie?

Kinda glad I'm not the only one. I was indirectly affected by the Bataclan Attacks and the Bastille Day massacre shocked me verily. I like Idris Elba and wanted to give this a try, but I'm not sure whether or not I'll be able to enjoy it.
shareI've watched it now.
Even though the two leads give a good perfomance and it has some good action scenes, 'Bastille Day' overall is still a flick well below average. They borrow all the stereotypes both about France and secret agents; and the fact that this movie has the guts to pull through with such a SJW'esque scenario (immigrants and anti-fascists are good, white cops and fascist politicians are bad and responsible for all the terrorism), even though during its production time islamic terrorists killed or wounded more than 300 innocent people in Paris, is downright insulting. At least I think it is insulting, and I'm not even French.
Thank you for the info. One day there might be a movie that does not whitewash the jihadist ideology, blame the victim, or try to make theocracy and individual rights seem like morally equal ideas.
