she seemed to make a pretty good mom. it was nice to see that side of her.

I completely agree and it was the highlight of the episode for me.
Must have been a lovely change of pace for the actress too as she has been through the wringer that last few seasons!

We’ve seen a different and somewhat livelier side of her before (if for only brief moments at times), however getting to see her in a motherly role was refreshing and heartwarming. It was well-done and certainly the strongest aspect of “The Last Day.”
