Affleck's Hubris Has Finally Come Home

Yes, reviews are in and theyre not kind.
Boring.
Too Long.
Unfocused.
Serves him right. You simply cannot write, direct and star in a movie surrounded by Yes Men. You can, of course, but after several films youre gonna start failing.
Pick one and do it well instead of picking three and doing them so so.
The old saying saying holds true - A person who represents (directs) himself, has a fool for a client (leading man)

Affleck needs a kick in the nads because that's what he delivered to us on screen here.

People are going way overboard. Wow, the hate for Affleck is actually hilarious.

He took on a very excellent, but complex, in-depth novel. He attempted to do the novel justice by including all of it's very important sub-plots and it simply doesn't work on screen when you're allotted just two hours. If this was a 10 episode mini-series, it'd be the talk of season. Unfortunately, it's just too complex for the big screen.
