for a good old ending. Now a days always it has to be a bitter end. What was the purpose of her dying. I mean he even stopped being a gangster.

I would prefer they would walk on that beach with her by his side as a family.

I dont have a problem with a bad ending as long as it makes sense. Now they just do it so it wont be a cheesy ending for some.

Cheesy ending for some if she lives, not a good ending if she dies for you.

Too each his own, but I think it made a good point of not being able to escape your past, especially because he never wanted to show him the pictures, he thought that was too much. It wasn't a loose end dealing with the mob or any gangsters, it was the one "moral" guy who went crazy because of Afleck.
