I'm at a loss of words. That fact just made this awesome film even better. Almost makes the Nightwish t-shirt forgivable... & after all, Nightwish is very white trash, in scandinavia since the early 00's, so it kinda fits. So f:n tired of slick, militaristic mafia/swat/conflict flicks, this is a step in the right direction. Those who find it "slow" should probably keep to their 2 fast 2 furious/pacific rim/whatever children's movies, Blue Ruin ain't even close to artsy, it's just not shot like a 90's music video.
