Loved his character and performance.

Yeah, I never got into the Home Alone movies. I was working at a video store in the 90's and that was the first time I started to notice people would rent or see a movie based upon how much money it was making in the theaters. So I didn't know who this guy was. After seeing Blue Ruin I had to go to his IMDB page and make a compliment.
He was really good in this.

That was Buzz? Holy Crap.

And yeah, he was good. More than good.

Same here! What a life-saving badass he was. And totally believable in the role. Dwight was lucky to have him as a friend.

Ratray is on quite a winning streak lately. He was great as one of the snide cousins in Nebraska, even though his role in that was much smaller.

I thought Macon Blair was excellent, but Ratray gave the film most of its much-needed humour and allowed the audience some respite from what could have been an unremittingly dark story. I thought he was great in "Nebraska" - it took me a little while to remember why he looked so familiar and then the penny dropped.

Same here. I kept saying to myself -- "who is he, who is he, I know him!"
