I absolutely loved Take Shelter, and liked the Rover a lot. Some of your other titles sound familiar, but I will def. check out the rest of your list. Just posted mine below since we may have some overlapping tastes.

shareI'd recommend the writer/director Jeremy Saulnier's small catalog. They're all different, especially the first, Murder Party, a dark comedy, but imo they're all great.
Also, not perfect matches, but I'd suspect there would be some "fan overlap" with these dark revenge thrillers:
Wind River (2017) - have seen at least twice a year since its release. Highly recommended. Very cathartic.

Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017) - Highly recommend writer/director S. Craig Zahler's small catalog. He's prob. my favorite current filmmaker. Warning: very gritty and violent, but brilliantly crafted.
The Twilight Samurai (2002) - trust me, I bet you'll love this. Direcor Yamada's next samurai film, The Hidden Blade (2004) is fantastic too.
