Watching the scene about fonts, and he fires the best developer...anyway, he wants a word processor with fonts. But he doesn't know how to do it, which is why he hires ppl, but they're learning themselves. He has ideas but he's not an engineer. I hope he paid his employees well. Seems like a jerk
shareNo one is saying he wasn't a jerk. The movie clearly shows him being a jerk and much worse. He denied his own child. Can't get much worse than that.
But he was also a visionary. Jerk or not, I think it's amazing that he saw something that no one else saw, and didn't stop pushing through till he got it done. Give the man his due; he built a better mousetrap. Several of them.
