Who for a Bill Gates movie?

Since "Dude where is my car" Kutcher could play Steve Jobs. So what about Justin Long for Bill Gates?

Topher Grace would be perfect.

Then movie would have to be different than Steve Jobs.

Both have revolutionize the computer industry - however, with a different approach and background.

Bill Gates is a real geek - he's a programmer AND a business man. He knew the nuts-and-bolts of what made a technology possible. His PC became popular and was designed for businesses. Thus, he's more of a Business-to-business guy.

Steve Jobs was not a true geek; he wasn't a programmer. He did hired programmers and expect them to do the impossible. However, what made him a genius was his marketing vision.

They already did a Microsoft/Bill Gates movie with Anthony Michael Hall. It was good. That movie portrayed that Apple stole the OS idea from Microsoft. But, the Jobs movie portrayed that Microsoft stole the OS idea from Apple. So I don't know who is telling the truth

Apple is better Microsoft is so down hill think about it...

Bond James Bond

"Apple stole the OS idea from Microsoft"

That's wrong. Microsoft stole the Mac OS look and feel from Apple, which is why Apple sued Microsoft. Microsoft is not an innovative company at all and never has been.

reply

Microsoft stole the "desktop" idea, but thats as far as it went.

Bill "stole" What Steve "stole" from Xerox...

reply

the whole xerox angle is covered in the late 90s TV movie

the pirates of silicon valley

which was pretty much about steve jobs, bill gates, balmer, xerox, the MS DOS dude who got *beep* by gates, etc etc

it was a better movie than JOBS

check it out sometime.

reply

Yes i have seen it. Both contain bits of truth and probably lies also.

You're thinking of "Pirates of Silicon Valley" and in it, it didn't show that Apple stole the visual interface concept from Microsoft. It clearly shows that Microsoft stole the idea from Apple but got it out on the market first thanks to Microsoft's OS not being hardware dependent.
