Accuracy comparing “Pirate” and “jOBS”

I know both has flaws and contain fictional elements, but I seem to like “Pirates of the Silicon Valley” more, it covered more basis in both Jobs and Gates’ career and personal life. “jOBS” was nothing more than another Hollywood style biography patched up in fast time, drawing attention over someone’s death. I’m surprise they haven’t make one for Michael Jackson yet.

To those who know more than original biography, can you name the things that are fictional in both movies? I would like to know very much!

Classics are names that everyone heard, yet most have never seen!!

Here is a pretty good breakdown of the accuracy of Jobs:

Not really sure about Pirates, in watching both of them, I felt that Pirates was the less accurate of the two, at least in regards to the Apple side of things.

Nope, Wozniak confirmed that "Pirates of Silicon Valley" was actually a MORE accurate portrayal:

Woz has openly stated that the "jobs" movie was off about many key facts!

Accuracy aside, I thought that the rivalry between Microsoft and Apple makes for a better story. Personally I find it hard to believe that the affect that Gates and Microsoft had on Jobs and Apple was so inconsequential that it merited barely a mention in this movie. That 30 second scene of Jobs ranting at Gates over the phone seemed like something someone threw in at the last minute. "Jesus! Two hours and we forgot all about Microsoft! Quick, throw something in there, for Christ's sake!"
