Why did they cast Ashton Kutcher?
He has to be the worst actor ever---an annoying, talentless bomb. He made a very bad movie even worse. Is it because he vaguely resembles Jobs that he got the part?

shareI took the opportunity to read a number of your comments on other boards. You seem to be a legitimate dimwit who really enjoys making outrageous and negative comments. Unless it involves Keri Russell.
I would be surprised if anyone actually responds to the "Kutcher" part of your post. The tone of your post doesn't invite discussion, it invites ridicule.

Make a choice, to take a chance, to make a difference.
Because Cuba Gooding Jr. was busy and Danny DeVito wanted too much money.

are you kidding? I'm not a Kutcher fan, but he was the spitting image of a young Steve Jobs. Look at the photos next to each other and it can be difficult to tell them apart. How about *you* tell us who you think would have been better as opposed to just cr apping on the casting choice that was made.

The OP isn't the only one. I avoid anything Kutcher is in anymore. And it doesn't have anything to do with Demi Moore.
He is a total lightweight. So, no, I won't be watching this movie. If it was ranked 7.0 or more I might think about it.
I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
To my knowledge I've never seen Ashton Kutcher before, so had no baggage to bring to the table. No idea what he and Demi Moore have to do with one another (and don't care, for that matter).
Yesterday I saw Pirates of Silicon Valley, followed by Jobs. Kutcher may look like a young Jobs, but the actor who played him in Pirates of Silicon Valley was much, much better. In fact, the whole film was much better. Now I see why the ratings were so low on this film; it's not very good.
If you want to see a decent film about Jobs and this period of time, your time is better spent watching Pirates of Silicon Valley.
he looked like him and was a good choice based on that alone. but he can't handle a part like this, he is too much of a lightweight, it is true.
