Some loose ends

I thought the movie was decent but was curious on a couple of things. In the opening scene we see Jobs present the iPod but during this they cut to a guy with a shaved head who I thought would be one of the initial founders. At the end of the movie though they show photos of how the characters actually looked in real life and this guy was separate from everyone else....just wondering if anyone knows who he was.

Secondly, I was intrigued by the falling out between Jobs and Daniel and was wondering if there was a specific reason behind it.... aside from the lashing out scene in the front yard where Jobs criticizes Daniel for not pulling he weight. Is it alluded that a lot of things went down in India and that Daniel might have messed around with Jobs girlfriend and this is why Steve believes the baby wasn't his?

This is where we fight, this is where they die.

It's been awhile since watching, so based on my memory (and reading his bio)...
Don't remember shaved head guy at the beginning. But there were 2 founders - jobs and woz. Johnny Ive does have a shaved/bald head, and he Mr IPod. So, mist likely him.

I think the falling out et al was to show how much of a prick Jobs was. Doesn't matter if you are best buds or not, he's going to treat you how he wants to treat you. Same with not wanting anything to do with gfriend and baby.

It was Sir Jonathan Paul "Jony" Ive.

There were numerous humongous plot holes.

Since the first was answered - to your second question:

No, Steve Jobs knew that Daniel hadn't messed around with his girlfriend (Jobs was actually the unfaithful one). The filmmaker was just trying to show what a prick Jobs was to those that helped him start Apple in that garage. Also, it was to show how Jobs wanted nothing to do with his daughter for many years because, in his mind, she would get in the way of his work. Sad.

Remember how he screwed Woz out of a fair share of the Atari money? History would repeat itself; Jobs screwed over Daniel and the other guys when it came time to assign them shares for the IPO, which they rightfully deserved...and did not get!

Jobs has been described as arrogant, narcissistic, and sociopathic...who was also a brilliant idea man and perfectionist. It was this that they were trying to show.

Re: the shaves head guy- It was the design guy, the one who designed the iMac with the blue plastic body on Jobs' first day "back." Of course, he had a full head of hair for 95% of his screen time, so it's easy to see how you wouldn't recognize him with a shaved head.
