Did he ever...

create something? I mean craft something with his hands in his company or was he just the stupid dictator?
I just watched the movie, know nothing about him and so on.
But in the movie I never saw him really do something. Ok, he had the visions and stuff which is very important of course, but if he really didn't create something and just telling others what he wanted it to be. If it was like that then it is way too much to treat him like some kind of god.
As i mentioned, the visions and ideas are very important but without the guys who bring that to reality, it's just a vision in your mind.

Thanks for answers.

is that why you call yourself bastard?

As terrible as the movie was, the scene with Woz trying to pitch the Apple to the homebrew club is an example of why Steve was needed. His charisma is what landed them deals in the first place, and his dictator-like management is what inspired people to create a better product instead of something just "good enough".

Being needed doesn't mean deserving of the credit.

the movie worse than wikipedia is not to be trusted, but even in the movie you can see clearly that the people who "did" things didn't know the worth of what they had or how to develop it without jobs.
