It feels similar to 30 days of night and the Thing . This is the one good thing about it - the wintery setting is great

I'm getting a whole "Fortitude" vibe here. That was another Frozen Tundra mystical mumbo-jumbo series a few years back.

i haven't seen it in so long I don't remember the story but I do remember the setting.
