After I saw Bloodwork which he was amazing in, but he sounds like acts just like his character from Bloodwork. Sorry but he may be a one trick pony.

This movie was actually filmed before "Bloodline". I totally saw the similarities between Gerry and Danny as well, but Ben played Gerry before Danny so it's really the other way around. Also, having seen more of Ben's Australian films he really has so much range playing different types of characters. In the late80s/early 90s he was a teen idol and played mostly "good guy" type roles. That all changed when "Animal Kingdom" came out and he got noticed in the US.
shareliked him in bloodline. It's only matter of time when he gets an oscar.
shareHe's been a bit typecast since Animal Kingdom. It's great he's getting work in Hollywood but he's got amazing range.
In saying that, there's a sort of indefinable "edge" to him that he's always had. There's a real complexity to all of his characters that's really fascinating to me.
