Felt like a documentary
The acting was so real and natural. I liked Frances and I could feel her sadness when Sophie grew apart from her.
Good movie.
One of the reasons for your reaction is that all the other actors contributed so well. Frances and Sophie are the only ones with a lot of screen time. Everyone else has only a few seconds to convince you of their character, and that takes some damn good acting. And preparation.
shareVery true. Everyone felt like a real person. Even the people at the dinner party...like you said they only had a few moments on screen. But I felt like I knew who they were just from that scene.
