No, it's Chrome Sitar by T Rex, from the Futuristic Dragon album. I hadn't heard it before (I was a huge T Rex fan but their/his star was waning and I had moved on when FD came out). I found out what it was when I got home and got the album - I was amazed at how good it is.
I thought the use of songs on the soundtrack was excellent - Every 1's A Winner, Modern Love etc - not songs I'm overly fond of but great in the context they're used in here.
