New York is rich with diversity and I think I only saw a little Asian girl in the dance troupe through the entire film.
Ironically, that would be more racist if they did do that as a simple token gesture. Lol.
shareI think the whole white cast may have to do with the theme of the film actually. Frances was surrounded by somewhat privileged and middle upper class white people that it may be the reason why she was such a trouble situation. If there were some minorities in the film or marginalized individuals then maybe it would actually benefited her situation more or even found someone who was more relatable.
