shareDuring the movie you learn one of the characters is romantically involved with her father. But at the conclusion of the movie my take is that both the father and daughter characters are different elements of the main character and his wife. But when I left the theatre I did hear people talking about the "incest" being the most disturbing part. I don't think they really understood the deeper plot though.
Edit: Watching it a 2nd time, I think I was wrong about this.
Indeed, it is quite possible that the entire plot of the film took place solely inside the head of Liam Neeson, the writer. This film reminded me of Words for some reason.
