Is Franco innocent???

Unlike many, I like to theorize and obviously liked this movie. I haven't noticed anyone else comment about the shift in Franco's character after elevator incident. Is it possible that he was the one that blacked out the actual events? (child abuse). His relationship with his son is disjointed at best. Mila asked for lie detector (never 100%)and obviously can't really remember the actual events. This would complete a sequence where the male characters cause harm to their kids, including Wilde's dad. Sorta makes sense to me!!

I don't agree with you, she knows exactly what happened and she was only confused if it was her fault or just an accident
he is blaming her for trying to hurt the kid and she is saying it is an accident but then says she was trying to teach him a lesson I guess
so either way she did what happened and she didn't mean to harm her kid
he was so angry at her because she cheated on him which was probably why they broke up or got divorced earlier then the accident happened after that when the kid was with her
and the shift happened after he knew that she told the kid to take care of him and was ready to let go and accept the situation and also she admitted what she did
so he was just mad at her more for cheating on him and for not admitting what happened, more than actually putting the kid in danger I guess
by the way I loved this movie, it is a masterpiece in my opinion.

It is never about what happened, it is only how you look at it!
