Some questions? (spoilers)

Well this was an amazing film. When i started watching it, i didn't know this would be such great but as the film continued, i was going more and more into it. I just didn't understand something:

1. Was it all the story of Liam and everything was fiction that was being shown in film. I mean to say that there is one perspective that i feel that this whole film was Liam's story in different chapters.

2. What did the disappearing of people near the ending prove? Rick (James Franco) disappeared standing before the picture, Scott (Adrian) car disappeared while driving but not the Liam's story line.

3. When he was running after Anna, what does the appearance of Julia (Mila Kunis) and Monika (Moran) mean while chasing for Anna?

One last thing, the ending of film where the names start appearing, it was written in very elegant font style. Some words were written backwards and some were smaller, does anyone know what font style is it?

I'm afraid I don't have any anwsers for you. I'm equally confused about this movie and would appreciate if someone clarified it.

Maria Bello also disappeared while swimming.

Are all the disappearing people characters in different drafts? It was too messy to track.

The incest thing was just out of the blue and nasty and didn't make much sense.

I am surprised you call it amazing despite, like the rest of us, not getting it at all.

1. I think Mila/Franco and Adrien/the Roma woman were entirely fiction and characters in his novel. The Olivia Wilde stuff was real but happened in the past. The stuff with his editor and his wife was real and in the present.

2. All of the people that he was writing about in his novel--Mila/Franco/Olivia/Adrien/Roma woman--disappeared because their stories were not in the present.

3. I'm not sure that's significant. It was just the filmmaker's way to show that the three women were not actually there.

I agree with you, it was an amazing movie

1. yep

2. it proved they were all fictional, Wilde was a part of his life in an earlier stage but he never actually left his chair from the first scene until the end of the movie

3. it meant none of them was actually there at that moment, it was the end of the story he was writing so they disappeared

can't help you about font, it was stylish and classy though.

It is never about what happened, it is only how you look at it!
