Mila Kunis *SPOILER*

For all those who have actually seen the movie, Does Mila's character actually try to kill her son and confess to the father of her son?

reply

From what I gathered, she tried to show him (the son) what can go wrong if you play with a plastig bag. Possibly choked him and the boy panicked, as you would expect. Don't think he was in any real danger, but who knows what she was like when she "wasn't herself" (as Franco put it).

reply

The way she was describing it to James Franco, it sounded more like a "extreme-tough-love-gone-wrong" kind of situation. She told James he was never there, which left just her to care for their son. When their son got into the dry cleaner bags in their closet, she said something along the lines of how she had to let him know what could happen if nobody was around. She eventually "saved" him but her sadistic attempt at scaring him into not playing with bags like that almost killed him.

i agree with all you've said except that I don't think she was sadistic. I think she was operating from a place of frustration and feeling "at her wit's end", a state which difficult children can easily cause.

The way to have what we want
Is to share what we have.

Nope I don't think so, there was an accident
either it wasn't or purpose or she was trying to show him what could go wrong if he didn't listen to her and kept doing what he was doing which is something I couldn't understand
but either way she didn't mean to try to kill him, most probably she as she said was trying to teach him a lesson.

It is never about what happened, it is only how you look at it!
