Birthdays
This group seems to put quite a bit of emphasis on celebrating their birthdays. Do y'all still still have parties or plan something special for your day?

shareWe might go to dinner or have drinks, unless its a big birthday like 30 or 40 then we might do a party, but for the most part no, none of my friends do anything big for their birthday
shareMaybe not every birthday but we have had big ones and had a whole surprise party group trip for my 30th and a surprise wedding of sorts.

I don't do anything special for my birthday. My husband usually takes me to dinner then we have some birthday cake.
shareI think the older you get, the less you care about making such a huge stink about the day you were born. There are more important things in life. My bday is on Monday and I already made it known I don't want to be bothered, still going to work and it's just like any other day. But we have to realize that these are a different type of people than your average joes.
Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be
Happy Birthday Marquis! Capricorns are the best lol!
Anyone know Katie's birthdate? Want to know...
Ha! Thanks, it's Jan 16th. Yes CAPS rule! As for Katie, I believe her birthday is sometime in January? Lol. Hard to believe she maybe one of the CAPS!

You're absolutely right! The older we get the less important birthdays become. Except the biggies like 30, 40 etc. Mine happens to be today GO CAPS lol and I'm going to work. We'll go out for dinner tonight and have a few drinks with dinner. Maybe have a few more with some of my girlfriends over the weekend. Those knuckleheads on the show make a big deal so they have another excuse to get drunk and do stupid sh!t. As if they need an excuse..
shareHappiest birthdays, fellow Caps! I stopped caring about birthdays after my 20s. Plus, it's hard to plan anything when my birthday is December 26th. There's too much other holiday crap going on and people are tired and broke.

My group will go out for dinner and drinks to celebrate each others bdays, but nothing normally as epic as these guys. When I was younger we would go big like that, but now that we are all in our 30s, we just don't care as much about birthdays specifically. We'll go big on other events, 4th of July, Halloween, New Years, etc.. but birthdays specifically we don't care as much about for some reason. Although i'm taking my wife to Vegas for her bday this year with friends to see Britney and i'm certain we'll get super blasted out of our minds, so...
