VR is an attempt to relive high school and all it could have been

Hear me out here. I think Vanderpump Rules is a huge story about some 30 year olds who are reliving their high school years. The relationships on this show seem to be exactly like the relationships you have it High School. You pick your partner based on looks and if they are not too hard to get along with, have the same friends you do and are down for anything, you stay with that person.

In high school you do not need to make decisions about what you are going to save your money for or what job you were going to take. The important decisions you make are which party you will attend over the weekend, who you will flirt with at that party or who you sleep with at that party.

On Vanderpump Rules, it is the same thing. These people are working jobs you would work at if you were in high school or college. Their main activities are going out drinking at night and planning events that they will do over major holidays. The relationships are very superficial and the fights likewise.

Just like in high school, you would not want to break up with your steady right before a big dance or some other event you're looking forward to. On Vanderpump Rules, you wouldn't want to break up with you steady when the gang is going to see a NASCAR race or Montauk for the weekend.

For these reasons, none of the fights these people have and/or their discussions seem very sensible. Their decisions about who they are going to marry are equally illogical. They are not looking at the future.

For all the above reasons, do not get upset about what occurs on Vanderpump Rules. It is all high school fantasy.

30s is the news 20s. People are not getting married early as they used to. People like to extend their youth. I don't see anything wrong with it. They are working people and they do have jobs. I don't like the low morality on the show, however . I would like to see a show with more Judeo-Christian values.
