Did they really just do that?
Segway into that new show? Ugh
shareIKR! I looked at the 'guide' to see what show this was. It still says VR so I see what they did there (side eye!).
sharePass! These guys are even worse losers than "VR!" Kyle had a chance to be the cool one and blew it big time in seconds! I hate bad drunks! In my day, some could be charming; these Barbies & Kens are "playing it" for all its worth!
My Personal Opinion...Not Trying To Start A Board War...
The guy with the war stories was milking it for the cameras. I am a Veteran and felt insulted for myself and other military personnel, active/non-active. I respect that he served, but did not need to see the "act". Perhaps I am being over critical, but it did not ring true for it to come out so smoothly as it did. This observation is from personal experiences.
Luckily I missed out of it! "Summer House" is all yours guys!

I just saw that part, and I could not agree more. I'm a former Marine, and I totally agree that there was something very staged and inauthentic about that scene.
shareI respect your service thank you! I also found that to feel staged. And wouldn't he have been a little PTSD when all the loud fireworks were going off, because that would have been a more believable reason to bring up war memories and tear up. But still, grateful for his service <3
shareI was pissed kept watching it waiting for it to get back to Vanderpump rules after 10 mins I turned the *beep* off. It was way too boring!
shareWe got through about 5 minutes of it and me and my husband and I couldn't stand it anymore. I don't know what they are even talking about and it hurts our brains. Doesn't seem to have an imdb board yet either. Just called Summer House. Sure got off to a rough start unless people like blond twins rambling.
shareIt's a Jersey Shore knock-off. Pass.
shareI didn't mind it and actually like the new show! I like that they are gainfully employed and earn their Hamptons weekends. I had fully expected to hate them, especially the twins (who actually seem nice). I had assumed they were all trust fund brats. When the VR girls were impressed with the size of the house, the SHR people made comments about living in shoe boxes in the city and having to work hard all week to earn their house share. I'm in.
You never know when you may have to jam
What are you talking about? You know that's how Vanderpump Rules premiered. It went from RHBH to Lisa walking from a private dinner into main part of Sur restaurant. They never went to commercial and you didn't even know the shows switched.
shareThat's exactly right. I saw an interview on one of the behind the scenes shows with a producer who was talking about how wildly successful it was when they did that. People were all over the Internet going, what just happened?!?! Lol Guess they thought if it was successful once, it would be again.
shareYeah, it makes sense for Bravo as a way to promote their new show. It seemed pretty obvious what was going on, so if you didn't want to watch just turn the tv off. I kind of liked it. Most of these reality shows need new casts, but if they aren't going to replace VR people at least they give us a new show. Everybody on VR looks weathered from too much drugs and alcohol. And the way the girls acted in Mantuak kind of makes them look like white trash. Not saying this show will be great, but at least it will be fresh.
shareWe're on to you!! HARD PASS!!
