My theory on what Tom and Katie got married

I think the reason Tom and Katie got married when they did was mostly about money. They saw first hand how Scheana got a $100K wedding that was mostly paid for my bravo and how the things like flowers, the venue, etc were given to them for free.

They are both decently smart people, so they know that the show isn't going to last for ever. If they got married 3 or 4 years from now, it is likely the show won't be on anymore or that Tom and Katie re no longer cast members. Therefore, to get a nice wedding basically for free could be now or never.

I think they both could see themselves marrying each other at some point, just not now. So they took a risk and got married despite the red flags so incase the marriage works out, they will have had the wedding of Katie dreams that they barely had to pay anything for.

Yeah it is annoying. I wonder how much all this money stuff is fake but Bravo likes to have people spend money on their trips but it is all a lie for show and Bravo actually paid for it.

They make a point of saying that 2 friends were paying for a trip on Jersey because Teresa was having legal money issues at the time. Very planted and annoying. That was season 6.

I thought Sheena got the money for her wedding from a car accident settlement or something? She got some kind of legal reward money from a law suit and said she was paid that way. got the money for her wedding from a car accident settlement or something? And paid for her wedding with that money? I don't know if she was lying, or if it's part of it is true but she said it a few times on the show.

I can't imagine believing anything these people say! They've taken "artificial" brain-sharing to new heights! They think nothing of lying with all kinds of videotape showing they're all "full of it!"  

LEAVING ME stranded and told to take an UBER would have me packin'! You drive me somewhere, it better be my decision to find an alternate mode of transportation! Abandoning me would not be forgiven! I don't play that crap! Too much could have happened and then what does she say; "I should have ...?"

I agree, you leave me stranded and we are DONE! But let's face it there's no way in hell Tom has the stones to end it with Katie. He couldn't stand up to his mean ass fiance. Tom complains about her behavior even saying "Tequila Katie" scares him. He's a nice guy but he's a henpecked wuss!

They might make them pay for the wedding during the planning then they reimburse them after they get to film it.
