Don't feed the troll.

Meh, I agree with the troll. It was rubbish. Jack Whitehall is.... just bad. You know you're a bad actor when you make Matthew Horne look like Robert De Niro.

God, this show is a pile of crap. At least Bad Teacher was slightly funny and had decent actors in it.

Most TV comedies take at least a couple of episodes to find their feet (I hated the very first episode of Father Ted, but after a couple of episodes realised what kind of show it was).

The first joke in Bad Education - The slutty pupil tells the teacher that 23 won't go into 15 - Was actually a pretty decent opening gambit. It set the scene and tone fairly well and two characters were immediately established.

Sadly, everything went downhill after that.

I gave it a chance but the show never did find its feet.

It seemed to want to be The Office, Green Wing and The Inbetweeners all at the same time. Despite the fairly decent cast, it clearly isn't any of those things.

Bad Education is obviously the result of a BBC committee meeting where they have tried to tick as many boxes as possible - The Chinese girl, the disabled boy, the fat victim, the tough kid, the camp lad etc. It just doesn't work on any level.

Episode Three featured a joke about "Wii" sounding like "wee" and a Reservoir Dogs gag. This tells you everything you need to know about Bad Education.

I agree with most of the comments on here and was surprised at the high rating that this has been given.
I was really hoping for an intelligent adult comedy with some surreal silliness but got a painful, cringe-inducing, try-too-hard 'The Inbetweeners' wannabe!
The most depressing thing about it all is that BBC3 cancelled 'The Fades' because its target audience (18-25) weren't as interested in watching as those aged 25
and over. So despite the critical acclaim and high viewing figures, BBC3 booted it off our screens for stuff like 'Bad Education' because they're obsessed with the youth vote. What a bunch of tossers!
Apologies for the rant; I thought I was over 'The Fades'...*sigh*
Oh and Bad Education gets a 4/10 from me
