Great performance and Allen's best movie in years.
The only problem I had with it is that I started to get the feeling that Jasmine was meant to be a representation of Mia Farrow.
Allen always puts too much of himself in his stories, and his movies always call to mind all the tabloid press concerning his personal life, which is distasteful enough without always being reminded of it.
Maybe I'm seeing something that isn't there, but in my opinion the connection damaged my appreciation for the character and for the film.
