did anyone else notice how similar this film is to a car named desire from 1951?

Wow, I watch streetcar named desire so many times but when I see blue jasmine I didn't recognize the similiarity at ll.

And now that you mention... it really is similiar. The sisters, the violent but loving husband, the delusional...
