Powerful, must see film

This is an excellent, powerful film, which is sadly still far too relevant today. For me, this is Michael B. Jordan's best performance and Ryan Coogler's best film. This is a must see film. My rating is a 9/10.

For the average movie-goer looking to be truly entertained, this is crap. For the entire movie we see him just live his life. Pick up his daughter, go to his mom's birthday party, talk to his friends, there's literally a scene where he's just filling his car with gas. All of this to the build up at the end where we already know what happens. Meh.

Yeah, had if this weren't based on a true story, audiences would just see it as a sloppy, aimless film. There's honestly not enough story here to sustain its 85 minute runtime. A short film under an hour would've honestly sufficed.
