Sweetest Moment
First of all, let me say that keita was absolutely adorable in this film. I wouldn't think of giving him up, whether he was my biological son or not. Since the father in the film believed that blood lines were more important, this movie is really about the father and his evolution of his understanding of what it means to be a parent. That being said, I thought the sweetest moment of the film was when Keita made a father's day rose for both fathers - his presumptive father and his real father. This clearly touched the false dad because it was an act of pure kindness that was perhaps foreign to himself. He looked at Keita and said, "You really are kind, aren't you?" It was that realization that I found so touching, it brought a tear to my eye.
