Back to showing his versatility!!!
I have yet to see this film, but after watching the trailer it looks like a good example of Ryan Reynolds showing he's not just an 'action hero' or rom-com leading man.
With his voice work on Turbo and The Croods (neither of which I've managed to see yet) and his other film this year (The Voices), no one can ever say that Ryan Reynolds isn't versatile.
I thoroughly look forward to watching The Captive and all the others I've mentioned, although I'm a little upset that The Captive hasn't had a UK cinema release. A lot of films starring Ryan Reynolds are little known (this is possibly why people may have the oppinion that he sucks), which is a shame because because no-one should rate an actors ability or body of work on one or two movies (Green Lantern, X-Men Origins; Wolverine being his most well known).
