At the end of the movie why does Matt take down all of his daughter's
things and drive away? I thought it would end with the family being together. Is this to suggest they are still torn apart?
shareI took it to mean he was letting go of the past - having always pictured her the way he last saw her when she was taken from his truck - but now accepting his little girl doesn't exist anymore and she is a young woman now since he has been reunited with her.
