Isn't this a remake of the Jeff Bridges' film The Vanishing which was a remake of a Dutch film????????
sharenot really. while the director tried to make something similiarily artsy and intense as the dutch version, it does not deliver. not even close. btw, the dutch original spoorlos is like 4 million times better than the US version.the studio enforced the happy ending of the US version.
