Wow, no wonder the movie was so terrible. The idiot says *beep* like "Most pedophiles break any connection with the parents and basically tell the victim "I'm your parent now.""
No wonder the abductor character was just a socially inept reject, because the director thinks pedophiles are just socially awkward creeps with pencil thin mustaches who do nothing but try and dominate children.
How much better this movie could have been if instead of this character it turned out the father did sell his daughter to some bizarre sex slave ring. It would really grab you with the reality that these people look and act like you and I, not like Snidely Whiplash.
