1. Why doesn’t the girl attack her kidnapper and try to escape?
2. Why is the girl being made to record 'stories' into the tape recorder?
3. Why does the girl keep talking about tricks and gimmicks? She won't shut up about them.
4. If someone is planting items in hotel rooms to tease the Mother, why not check the hotel hallway cameras or install if there aren't any?
Terrible movie
1) I believe the girl had a form of Stockholm syndrome, also there was a threat Mika would kill her family, I think father specifically.
2) This is what he gets off on and what is being sold to others. He wanted the same from Dawson's character, her story of the time she was in the van as a teenager.
3) I am not sure about this, I may have missed where this tied in other than its one of the last things she talked with her father about before her abduction.
4) The mother did not bring this to the police till the last thing was found before they discovered the camera. Mika did not return after the camera was discovered. However given how poorly the police are depicted in this film, they just may not be very good at their jobs.
I like the film ok, it had good atmosphere and some of the performances are very solid. But the film definitely has its flaws.
3- She's trying to make ver dad to see the skater guy, because she's going to send the abductors to him, that way he can follow them.
