Am I the only one who thinks Alexia is a bit tall to play a 13year old. She was almost the same height as Ryan R and at least a feet over her mother. She was 20-21 when she recorded this.
I though the girl I saw was 16-17 at least until i realized the date (year) stamps.
Yep, thought the same thing myself. And too old to act as a "gateway" to attract young girls. Don't they have any good 13-15 year old Canadian actresses?

She was nine... "almost ten, for Christ's sake", when she was abducted. Eight years had passed from the abduction to the point of the present... Which would make her 17. Almost 18.
shareThe film is structured nonchronologically. Different scenes take place in different years, spread over the eight-year period, moving sometimes ahead sometimes back in time. It is explained that Tina gets together with Rachel every year on Cass's birthday. That's why near the beginning, in the diner, when Tina has sunglasses and is dishevelled, she's obviously in bad shape, but just a few minutes later in the movie Tina has a different hairstyle and looks much better, that's because it's two or three years later. My recollection is that those scenes where Alexia Fast is on-screen portraying Cass, she's supposed to be 16, 17, and perhaps 18.
