Random Editing

It appears as though they took all of the scenes, let's say there were 50, wrote the numbers on paper, put them in a bowl and then picked them out randomly. That is how bad the timelines and editing was. If they just re-edited the movie, it would have been much better just based on that alone, as it was it was horribly confusing to a lot of us and to have to be so focused on a movie or re-watch it to figure it out, is troublesome, bad editing for sure.

We had no issues with it. Not sure what was confusing about it. My wife and enjoyed everything except the loose string they left in regards to Dawson's character still missing.

I totally agree! I don't see why the needed to jump between time. It just made it confusing and felt unnecessary

i.e. hopefully the editor gets fired......forever.

I like it when a movie messes with my mind. I love to be thrown curve balls that make you have a little think. Time shift editing is a great technique.

reply

Agree the editing was a mess and took away from the film.

My take on it is the filmmakers wanted to manipulate the audience and keep us guessing, which I enjoyed.

AGREED!!!
