Reynolds character had the same Dodge Ram for 8 years - he was in the landscaping business which eats up trucks.

Not if one takes care of their truck (repairs, etc), and does regular maintenance. I have a 1977 Chevy and it's still going strong. It isn't the prettiest or shiniest truck around but it's indestructable and ugly and I know every inch of her and she's mine.

My brother inlaw is a landscaper. He has had the same truck for well over 12 years. My husband and I don’t landscape but had the same van for over 14yrs. If you do your own repairs and have a reliable brand it will last.
