Well. I never saw the train wreck Jennifer's Body, but remember it was lambasted by every critic. I thought "ick" when I read the synopsis.
I have, however, seen this one, and it's a looooong way from the plot of J's B. This is a terrific, understated, subtle movie!
It would be unfair to compare it to a silly opportunistic piece of Hollywood crap. That was a vehicle for a couple of hot babes—probably little else.
