REMINDS ME OF MICHAEL ALMEREYDA'S "NADJA"
Which is no bad thing, both are great little films. I just mention it in case anyone reading would care to go watch it.

Reminds me of Béla Tarr's films from the latter half of his career, which is a good thing
He was so crooked, he could eat soup with a corkscrew.
Ohmygod, I totally thought the same thing. Sheila Vand's Girl even wears the same haircut and top as Elina Löwensohn, not to mention the anime eyes. Plus there was a similar no-wavish punk aesthetic to both movies.
shareI agree. In fact, if I owned a drive-in theater, I'd show a "Triple Feature" with Nadja, The Addiction, and A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. They seems like sisters in a way. Of course, Nadja is the shining star of the three.
