The scene with the girl and the little boy

That scene blow my mind I actually feel like that was a nightmare I had when I was younger, the emptiness of the location and the way the girl is gone and then suddenly in front of him was just terrifying. I loved that this film didn't overly rely on the standard jump scare tactic and instead used old school horror techniques

Yeah this movie had allot of good scenes like that, this one being probably the best.
I did feel like sometimes they kinda ruined it with the "speed-up" when she attacks someone, seeing her do that in real time would have been way creepier, but now that I think about it maybe that would have been too creepy for this movie.

The only genuinely scary scene of the movie for me. I actually felt scared for the kid. Fantastic scene. Love how she popped up in front of him when he thought he'd got away.

Agreed!

I felt really bad for that kid too. That scene made me hate that girl though.

This is the strongest part of the film and really, the only piece that really stood out to me. Too bad the rest of the film didn't follow suit.
